everytime i try and start my bot(s) i get this error:

m'kay i did that and it says telnet into the bot as NEW. when i tried to telnet into my sef it gave me an Connection Refused error

Look into your conf file (Apparently X.conf)
and find where you set the botnet ports.
Most likely you've used the one where it says "Listen XXXX all"
and the default is 3333.
Don't telnet on port 23, use the port you've specified in your conf.

also u can find your nick on the network that u setted and do a /msg botnick hello /msg botnick pass yourpass then /dcc chat botnick
