Need working Efnet servers please!

Ive tried every server that I have come across and none of them will let my eggdrop connect.. always permission denied. Does anyone know of any servers that DO work?

well.. that Im not sure of. I didnt seen a setting in the .conf file for that. Is there a way to turn it on for the eggdrop?

Try using the hostnames of the client servers rather than there numerical ip formats. Almost every EFnet server has friendly bots allowed.

Check with an IRCOp I think maybe your host on shell box range ip might be z:lined or ignored in the permanent blocklist of EFnets administrators, that might be a good reason, if it ain't connecting to any of the many client servers they have.

Other stuff you can do:
[1] Try changing the vhost.
[2] Change your bots listening port.
[3] Check if the ident is resolving. Don't use dynamic idents.
[4] Check if the bot connects to another major IRC network like DALnet.
(Then you may be able to see if it doesn't your configuration might have a problem)
