I am trying to run eggie version 1.5.4 in my room and am having trouble with the chanlimit script. The bot sets the limit ok but then immediately sets -l. I have looked all over in both the eggie code and the chanlimit script but cannot find where i may have made an error...but being a newbie at eggies I am open for suggestions.

Why would a newbie be using 1.5.x instead of the latest?

Check your configfile and make sure that chanmodes are not set -l.

And oh, yeah, btw, eggdrops are supposed to be run on shells, not in rooms :smile:
