I have a big botnet up. Everything has been fine until recently. There's a new error I've never seen before. A poster I located in the eggheads website forumn: http://www.eggheads.org/pipermail/egghe ... 12005.html details why they think this happens here in the link. I attempted to plug a .botattr +l for some of the leaf bots on each of the 5 hubs on my bigger net. On my little net for some reason I had no problems with this error. It happened after a major restructuring when a shell co. switched ip's. I had to redo a bunch of bots and now I see this every 5 minutes on my partyline: (23:10:14) (reinhardt) [23:10] Disconnected from: zoidberg. unleaflike behavior (lost 9 bots and 0 users)
(23:10:14) (reinhardt) *** Disconnected from: zoidberg. unleaflike behavior (lost 9 bots and 0 users)
(23:10:14) (reinhardt) [23:10] Disconnected from: donjulio. unleaflike behavior (lost 1 bot and 0 users)
(23:10:14) (reinhardt) *** Disconnected from: donjulio. unleaflike behavior (lost 1 bot and 0 users)
(23:10:14) (reinhardt) [23:10] Disconnected from: stalin. unleaflike behavior (lost 1 bot and 0 users)
(23:10:14) (reinhardt) *** Disconnected from: stalin. unleaflike behavior (lost 1 bot and 0 users)
It scrolls a lot further than that because it does that to each and every bot. There's been a lot of bugs in the different versions of eggdrop since I've been using them. I use a .tcl called 0wn 3.9 and this could be the problem too. It auto updates from a website and they may have gotten a bad bug in their script. If you are using an older version of eggdrop you might want to hold off on upgrading to 1.6.17 and wait for the next one.
A if you already upgraded and are recieving tons of errors, taking your hubs down will stop your bots at least from eating up tons of cpu. I'm frustrated and putting all my bots back to version 1.6.15. I am actually way more than 1/2 way through the process and it is still not working. If anyone else runs 0wn 3.9 or earlier for a botnet .tcl please let me know what's happening with yours.
Thanks
