I installed the TCL 8.0.5 package on my FreeBSD box since I had read somewhere that that version was the most stable for EggDrop.
Can anyone comment on the possible ramifications of using the older TCL version on the newer bot code? And maybe a recommendation for an updated version level of TCL? (or a version to steer clear of?)
Thanks,
-Barefoot

I haven't had any problems with 8.3.4 either. I'd recommend it.

I installed 8.3.4. Now I guess I gotta recompile the bot to tell it where to get it's TCL. It's still lookin at 8.0.*.
Thanks!
