Chan mode r not detected (austnet)

On austnet, chan mode r is used to block all but
@ and voice user from seeing chan chatter. This mode change does not appear to be detected by bind mode - * . I'm using 1.6.6 currently.

Any solutions would be appreciated.

This is a known bug and will hopefully be fixed in version 1.6.9.
