Can't join server...

Post by HecKel »

when I try to conect my egg to a server with ./eggdrop -mn egg.conf
I get this:

[20:43] === BOT: 1 channels, 0 users.
[20:43] main: entering loop
[20:43] Trying server uevora.ptnet.org:6667
[20:43] DNS resolved uevora.ptnet.org to 194.65.14.34
[20:43] Failed connect to uevora.ptnet.org (Invalid namespace)
[20:43] net: connect! sock 6
[20:43] net: eof!(read) socket 6
[20:43] (@) EOF socket 6, not a dcc socket, not anything.

I already switch the servers in conf file to others, but i always the same thing
I use fedora core 3, my conections is adsl, I use an alcatel speedtouch modem, this only happen when I use this conections...

Does this happens on any server you try and connect too?

Are you running any firewall software that could be blocking it from connecting to your server?

Do you run through a router/hub to connect to the internet?
