I have noticed that since version 1.6.6 i've been using the eggdrop only sees the need-op var on the default channel stored in my console. I have to manually privmsg to chanserv to gain op's in the other channels the bot is in. i have the same need-op var set in all channels: putquick "privmsg chanserv :op #<chan> <botick>"

I know what you mean... I simply put all the channels into the CONF file. Works for me. If you just cant be arsed, i'm sure someone has been bothered to make a TCL... have you looked?
