join channel help

Post by we2by »

Hi, I have a problem configuring my eggdrop to join multiple channels on different servers.

Let's say I have dalNET and efnet and freenode . and chnanel A is on freenode and channel B is on dalnet and chnnel C is on efnet. How do I add these channels to my config file?

thanks

Eggdrops can only be on one server at any one time.

The only way to make it join multiple servers is to make your eggdrop use psybnc with its multiple server support.

Good luck with that

might want to be careful with that.
some providers count each outgoing connection to irc as one process.

ie: same reason emech got banned from most legit providers a while back ago.

Multiple users/sessions from a single PID.
ie: Hiding processes
