is there a possibility to send something to an UDP port and wait for the answer?

I want to make a script that makes it possible to get informations about a half life server...

you can use a progam called qStat and get the bot to print the output.
qStat does server querys on CS Q3A servers and so on.

As I'm not very familiar with TCL, can you give me an example how to start qstat from within a TCL script?

I think that I'm able to read out the created file by myself. If not I will ask again :wink:
