+dk problem

Post by maKuLenZ »

I have a problem: when I create user with dk flags, it bans him not right.. e.g.:
(17:24:15) * npe3uk sets mode: +b *!NextScp@213.180.109.*
(17:24:15) * _`RonaldinhO`_ was kicked by npe3uk (you are not permitted to be on this channel.)

but, i need it to be like: *!*NextScp@213.180.109.*, the wildcard is needed. It's needed because, he can join channel with this ban, but get's kicked until eggdrop sees the join flood. I use egg 1.6.17.
So the question is, how i can change this banmask ? Thanx.

Code: Select all

.+ban *!*NextScp@213.180.109.* #yourchannel
This will ban that user from your channel permanently as long as his ident or host does not change. Read this for more information on bans.
The lifecycle of a noob is complex. Fledgling noobs gestate inside biometric pods. Once a budding noob has matured thru gestation they climb out of their pod, sit down at a PC, ask a bunch of questions that are clearly in the FAQ, The Noob is born

you can also 'set strict-host 0' in your config file, and the bot wont care about ~'s
