Whereas DALnet uses 3, 2 & 0. Other Networks services have their own way of informing if a Nick is registered or not; for some the information isn't even available. :)
Add [SOLVED] to the thread title if your issue has been.

Sometimes nicks are sqlined also. You might want to add an if statement for those also, which is in between registered and un-registered.
-NickServ- The nickname adminstrator cannot be registered.
