TCL script for qstat

I'm interested in writting my own tcl script which will show quake2 server responses (players, map, game type etc.). For example I want that qstat -P -q2s quake.takas.lt command would be shown on irc channel or in private and so on...
Anybody can help me? Give me some advices!
(Don't talk about qstat4eggdrop tcl because I don't like it and want to write my own)
