i think i have just found another bug in the eggs; i have not really bothered to test it on that many versions but from what i've seen
PRIVMSG #channel :versionVERSION
returns a lovely NOTICE flood which looks potentially exploitable :E
you might want to look into it

well, eggdrop returns a response that technically breaks rfc (because the initial command isnt techniaclly a true ctcp), but this will have no greater impact than a properly formed channel ctcp.
