hi guys
is there a way to record a word said in a channle i.e hello
and record the amount of times it said in a 24 hour period and total from starting the bot.
and on typing !wordstats
it would reply
<bot> there has been 203 hellos said since 1/1/06 and 12 hellos said today

hello is just an example

Use a stats script or module.

i did look at stats on the Archive but couldnt find anything that would do what i wanted

What you are probably looking for is pisg (or something similiar); a channel stats generator.

That seems alot of messin for the little thing i need to do and i have looked at the stats scripts and none do what i want i just need a sript that will pick up one word out of a line of text and stor info to a text file on how many times a day that word has been said and how many times in total sine the script was loaded to you guys its proberbly a few lines but to me since my bike accident my brain dont work to well these days
