Is it possible to ban a user is his nick name contains certain characters? Or is there a script to do this?

Hmm.. Correct me if I'm wrong. But can't that be done with like:
.+ban *foo*!*@*
to ban every nick containing the string "foo"?! I think that should do it..

No, that would kick his nickname!
Note the tha *foo* is before the !, which means the nickname.
Bans come in the form <nickname>!<ident>@<hostname>
So, if you don't want your local idiot to coem in with a ` in his nickname, that you would use *`*!*@*
