You do not have access to whois handles

Post by Vexor »

Greetings once again, sorry for the troubles. The ole brain's on a real bender here.

My bot doesn't see a lot of users. Mainly it's just a logger for PISG. However I've got a few friends who occasionally use the bot just for the ole "shoots and googles" ;)

Anyway, while setting info lines, I had one of my regular joe schmoe users attempt a .whois command and the response he got was:
"You do not have access to whois handles other than your own."

Is there a way to turn off this option so that any common user can use the .whois command on any nick? These fellas aren't too bright so I don't feel like giving them master/oper flags.

make your own whois command, i think they need certain global flags to use the built-in one.

Yea... I was hoping there was just a set mode in the eggdrop conf I overlooked. Ah well though, it's nothing major. I kinda figured something that easy couldn't be that easy. hehe

Thanks for the reply.
