What exactly is a +H channel anyway?

error msgs from the bot?

I dont see why a channel mode would make any difference to the bot..

the bot wont join as it has to set mode +H before it can join a mangled host chan
#bla bla bla unable to join (Mangledhost only Enabled Channel)

The bot itself has to set this weird mode?

Code: Select all

.chanset #chan chanmode +H
Try that and see what happens.

you should specify what does a 'mangledhost' mean. does it require some form of authentication with services and / or specific user modes?

+H is on linknet and allows to join only clients, with +h mode (hide ip)

so easiest step is to modify .conf inside

Code: Select all

proc evnt:init_server {type} {
part, replace putquick "MODE $botnick +i-ws" with putquick "MODE $botnick +ih-ws", this will automatically add +h usermode after connect
