What exactly do I need to run eggdrop?

Post by netstrider »

Ok, I run PCLinuxOS and I have edited the WHOLE eggdrop.conf. Everything is set up exactly as I want it (For the most part that I understand) This is my first experience with the bot and I don't know how to run it. Can I run it from my computer? Do I need to buy a "shell" or is that not necessary??

Please help an absolute noob with this, it will be greatly appreciated :)

Thanks in advance!

I'd suggest reading (carefully):

Setting up an Eggdrop
Using Your Eggdrop
Enhancing Your Eggdrop
Eggdrop Command Reference

eggdrop will run on Linux.
