Eggdrop bot that seems to be a regular mIRC client.

Post by daniel88 »

Does any have a list of signatures an eggdrop bot has, so I can try to pretend to be a mIRC client.

I have set my ctcp version, finger and userinfo.

What else should I consider doing?

Why on earth would you want to look like a mirc client?

Anyhow there is no actual way to emulate the correct mirc version reply and before anyone says you can, Then show me and demo it to me and I will pick it up anytime LOL. Mirc has a few not well known features that identify it as the real thing.

Lol if I told you that then everyone will know. I am a senior ircop on a network and part of my task is to stop version spoofing spambots. Thankfully they always try the mirc version reply, we catch them everytime :)

Well no need for that Rosc2112 but thanks anyway you can believe what you like. But if you feel so confident that its bull lets experiment, you make 1 and I will show you. OR if you dont want to go to the mirc forum its all there in black and white if you bother to search.
