need help here .... what is the problem ...
i use precompiled egg ...

Most likely this error occurs because of a missing identd server (or at least a valid reply). Some servers are picky about the usernames you use. :mrgreen:

i'm root in that server, what should i do to repair this problem ...

Install an ident server and not attempt to run eggdrop from root.
