Hi,
most likely your shell operates via menus, which means it'll probably have a pre-compiled eggdrop for you or whatever you want.

What options are available on this menu, and what sub-menus if any.
90% of shell providers, that use a menu system, provide 1 menu option, to drop to the shell.

sorry, no option to drop the shell
1,2 options for checking mail, 3 is a users list, does it have something to do the fact Im using a mail account user? Is there a way to turn this default shell off?
thanks again!

If you can't execute a command then you can not change your default shell unless there is a menu option to do it.

HMM. In your second post you stated, that the account was for a mail user. This is your problem.
You need full command line access to the shell, to be able to run a eggdrop.
Also, you need permission to run a eggdrop on any system. EG, the account description, or the terms and conditions, must permit you to run them.
