error on .netupdate -motd

I got an error when I make
.netupdate -motd bot
the error is:
netbots: error on motd download from bot - filesize mismatch for text/motd (expected 2445 bytes, got 2423 bytes).

any sugestion?

Possible causes - old version of netbots.tcl, using windows eggdrops, or funny characters in the motd file that tcl/eggdrop is having trouble with.

The nitty gritty of netupdate will have changed a lot in the next major release so, unofortunately, there's not much point in looking into this in much more detail.
