"hello" command

Post by Lordy »

seems i have lots of issues :p

after setting up eggdrop, when i message it the "hello" command it doesn't respond(is it supposed to?)

at either rate, i then proceed with the "pass <password>" and still no response(still unsure, is it supposed to?)

after that, i try typing .help and /dcc chat it, but it doesnt respond to either of those.

for set owner, i have it as the bot's name, not mine.

and for unbind msg - hello *msg:hello and bind msg - myword *msg:hello:
i have those both commented out.

am i missing something? =s

Most likely you have a router that gives you an IP address similar to 192.168.1.3, you then have to manually set your IRC client with the correct WAN IP (the one that the IRC server says you have).
