Hi, i will apprecite for your kind help/advise.
i have linked my "leaf" bot to the "hub" bot, its working fine, it linked ok
but i see this message in hub n leaf.
in hub:
netbots: rejected command from [Z] (incorrect key).
in leaf:
netbots: rejected command from [NY] (incorrect key).
in leaf set nb_key "changethis" i didn't chnage it, these msgs started when i did in hub n leaf
.netbots add leaf n .netbots add hub
hub is using version4.05 and leaf is using version4.09.
i cann't see this -> nb_key in hub, cos that's someone else bot and i have +n flag.
but bots are linked. not sharing the user file.
any help?? how do i fix this?
thanks
regards
AW
There is no way to fix this, unless you known the nb_key of the hub.
This is a security measure built into netbots, so that if people manage to connect one of there bot to the network, they can't make all bots join channels, or go mass commands.
Contact the owner of the hub, and ask for the key.
Thanks PPSlim!
i saw the weird thing, bots are using netbots, and are linked and sharing a usefile, both bots are using almost same other tcl scripts, one thing i had noticed, i have added the hub address like
.chaddr bot address:port, but somehow every second day its shows the old address again...
2nd thing my leaf's other tcl scripts get chnage, don't why/? somehow "hub" is updating?? but both bots are on the diff server
may be ur advise will solve these 2 weird things
in hub leaf flags are -> s
and in a leaf, hub flags are -> BOT FLAGS: hp
because you havent changed the hubs address on the hub. once they link, the hub's userfile overwrites the leaf's, so if it aint correct on the hub it aint gonna be correct on the leaf
but like there are 2 tcl scripts in leaf n in hub are same, both bots are on the diff server, i donot know why in my leaf those script get chnage, like i updated one of the script n did .rehash in a leaf, n today bot was using the old stuff, may be .rehash is not enough, need .restart??
thanks
