log rotation and mysql logging the channel messages

Post by donking »

I am planning go from psybnc to eggdrop. Would I be able to log rotate channel messages? Is there a way to insert the log messages into mysql with eggdrop?

Would you like to explain?

eggdrop & psyBNC are absolutely nothing alike in that eggdrop is an IRC (ro)bot (named after a type of Chinese soup) and is therefore an IRC "user" in it's own right.

What do you mean by "rotate channel messages?" as for insert the messages into a mySQL database, that's possible with Tcl.
