eggdrop vhost setup for each users

Post by donking »

How do I setup vhost for each users?

Eg:
USER1 my-ip "1.2.3.4"
USER2 my-ip "5.6.7.8"
Also for nick server identification, do you use identify.tcl script? anything better out there?

One eggdrop per bg process. one bg process per vhost.

DALnet only: Nickserv identification Script

The above (excellent) script could be modified for another network using similar services to DALnet.

Oh no it isn't. One thing with that site is it's reliable. :)

You do know you are expected to insert the displayed Security Code in the box before you can get any thing?

The link I gave sends you directly to a downloads page where there is an input box requiring that a user wanting the file needs to enter a randomly generated security code.

It's a graphic and cannot be copied & pasted. You enter it into the box (case does NOT matter) and then hit the "Go Get It" button to download.

Java would need to be enabled to see it (I think). :D

Set up vhosts for each users? This sounds like psybnc. Anyhow, read Vhosts for Eggdrop, then maybe you will get it.
