userfile error

Let me first say I'm am a complete newb when it comes to eggdrop, so please be patient

I got my bot all set up and running on the channel, but in dcc chat its returning this error:

ERROR writing user file

So as you can imagine no users are being saved LOL

I also noticed when I logged into the shell to start the bot this warning comes up:

*Warning! Could not write var/eggdrop.pid file!
Launched into the background (pid: 29413)

Can someone tell me what the problem might be and how to fix it?

the problem appears to be the paths for the files

Yes, that was it. I knew I was bound to miss something in that .conf file.
