Hi Folks,

I have a quandry. I want to have my eggy announce to a channel whenever a new topic is posted on a website within the phpBB bulletin board system.

Is this possible? I know anything is possible, but is this doable without re-inventing the wheel?

Thanks!

Sure, there is an eggnet module that does so, it's called phpbb and you can find it on http://eggnet.warpzone.org

Btw, it's for phpbb2, I don't know if it works with older versions of phpbb, if phpbb db tables don't changed too much... it might work too...

Yikes...

This module has a .tcl extension but is an crypt file that can't load as tcl script, and can't compile as a module. I'm confused as to how to proceed using it. D'OH!

It's a module part of a botnet script, you need to install the core.tgz file before.
Don't forget to read all the txt files

Ahhh...thanks...when I read the readme.txt file it confused me...I assumed that the core.tgz package was missing.

Sorry for the dumb question.
