Rocky wrote: Hi, I have another few questions related to this script.
I have a feed which requires me to log in to access it and as such i require the ability to include cookie session data.
Is this currently supported?
If so, how do i define the cookie data?
If not, any chance that this feature will be implemented?
Thanks.
The script currently supports basic authentication, but not cookies. I could probably add it with little fuss.

Thank you!
dont use windows to edit nix files.. or make sure you turn off wordwrap. do your editing on the shell and this will fix itself

Is there a solution for GZIP
[11:29] <me_> !binsearch
[11:29] <Windropbot> [Your RSS reader does not support \(gzip\) compression] Your RSS reader does not support \(gzip\) compression -
http://www.binsearch.info/
i got trf package like mentioned in help placed in lib directory, but it don't works or doesn't react in my channel.
this is the code in the script (lined to binsearch)
set rss(binsearch) {
"enable-gzip" 1
"url" "
http://rss.binsearch.net/rss.php?max=50 ... ries.anime "
"channels" "#FTD.usenet"
"database" "./scripts/binsearch.db"
"trigger" "!binsearch"
"charset" "utf-8"
"evaluate-tcl" 1
}
Is there a solution or something plz

After making that setting change you might need to .restart your bot instead of .rehash.

thx for the help, but i think the problem is caused through the link it self, data streaml is too big.
i even tried now with this
set rss(nzbindex) {
"url" "
http://www.nzbindex.nl/rss/?searchitem= ... &x=10&y=11 "
"channels" "#FTD.usenet"
"database" "./scripts/nzbindex.db"
"output" "[\002nzbindex\002] @@item!title@@ - @@item!link@@ - @@item!description@@"
"trigger" "!nzbindex"
"evaluate-tcl" 1
}
but with this code i don't get any code or response back
is it also the problem on the link, not supported or something

Well, I can clearly see the "</feed>" at the end of the xml, so the tag is definitely closed - how does your configuration section for the feed look like?
