Dcc connection problem

Hi all
i have a little problem with both my bots.
Don't know why every time i try to dcc chat my bots it doesn't work and this appears:
Waiting for acknowledgement...
On one of them i have not tcl's installed.
i temporary solved the problem by telnet to the bots, login, and THEN try to dcc, and IT WORKS!
So why?

Try checking your hosts for your handle.

This is the most common cause of DCC not working correctly.

I too have had this problem since upgrading to 1.6.8. Sometimes the DCC goes right through, sometimes I get the "awaiting acknoledgement' prompt. When this happens I simply click out, wait like 5 minutes and try again THEN it goes through.

I too had some errors before... due to my user@host.. sometimes you juz need to restart your com so it works again!

Restart what? What is COM?

Anyway, still it doesnt work, and i dont know where is the matter, i also reinstalled my bots
