Due to an issue with its current host, not to mention the downtime of the past 48 hours, egghelp.org will be moving to a new host. This means at some point I will be transferring the forum data over. Posting on the old server will be disabled soon to prevent overlap.
It is likely that I will be upgrading the forum to phpBB2 during the move. I am not a big fan of some aspects of phpBB2 - particularly its slower speed and greater bandwidth/space requirements. On the other hand, I know some others will much prefer its interface. The main reason for the upgrade is that support for phpBB 1.x has ceased, and with its dubious security record I cannot continue to run it when there is little incentive to produce fixes for any issues that may arise.
This is the new home of the egghelp.org community forum.

Change of host and probable phpBB2 upgrade
The new forum is now up and running as you can see, and most users should find their way here automatically as ISPs update their DNS. If you have an account, I recommend logging in, clicking on "Profile" and checking your settings. There are some useful new ones, such as the Timezone setting (timeanddate.com can be helpful in setting it).
