Botnet

Post by Fiery_WA »

Gday

I have two bots, they have been successfully linked and all bot flags seem to be in order.

However the server they are on has been having a few netsplits, and when the bots rejoin the channel, they are not opping each other.

What am I missing?

Make sure you are running a botnet script or package example of a botnet script that comes with eggdrop is GETOPS.tcl this script will have the bots ask for ops but it is critical of one thing. Hostmasks must be proper or else it doesnt work.

An example of a botnet control package would be netbots. Getops doesnt allow you to control all bots at once it only allows the bots to gain ops from each other. While netbots allows you to better control your botnet
