I would like to know what you define as a botnick, or botident.

As with any IRC client, you can change a bot ident and nickname (so long as you can change the reply of the identd), so there is no wya to setermine between a botnickname and a normal nickname.

They are one and the same.

Hi, sorry i mean an ident, because flooders try to use bot's ident to flood a channel, so they think bot will get ban ...

Thanks

AH - so I guess what you want is

If some2 joins a channel, with the same ident as your bots ident - you want the person kick and banned.

Hi ppslim: yeap exactly - because flooders are trying to use flood bots or clones or wingates with a bot ident, because they assumed someone will ban that ident, and in this way channel bot will get ban..etc

Thanks

The only effective way to get rid of them is to ban the ident. But hat is the problem.

Simply setting the channel +i should get around this issue.
