Forum modification against spambots.

Hello.
Why don`t you use phpbb mod like this: Anti-Bot Question?
This is much better then any captcha. You can add question like:"what is the most popular IRC bot?" with answer "Eggdrop", and many others related to Eggdrop and IRC. And I think we will forget about [censored] like today`s massspam.

Mod installation is very easy and much easy then spam message deleating.

Its true. Only spammers who register here manually can post here and only if they are familiar with irc. But all automated bots cannt access here.

Thats bad.
Or it was manual registration or they now learh how to hack Anti-Bot Question.
