Two small dcc issues

Post by zworqy »

So I got the bot working and i'm fast learning how to use it, but there are two little things I need help with:
  • The bot keeps nagging me about the welcome note, even though i've read it several times.
  • How do I stop the bot notifying me of channel mode changes? (i.e. [20:05:08] <botname> [20:05] #channel: mode change '+m ' by user!~user@hostmask.com)

1. lol, type: .notes in DCC/telnet (this is alot more helpful if you have notes2.tcl loaded!) for help with notes. But to remove notes once you have read them, type: .notes erase (i'd see the above command for more on the syntax)

2. read .help console should explain everything you need to know about that. But its pretty much just a case of removing it by typing: .console <#YourChannel> -k :)

Thanks for the quick response! I guess I am an eggdrop noob even though I'm quite experienced with computers otherwise.
