Some problems

Post by anotheregglover »

So I am having several problems... first and foremost: I have specified it to listen to one port for all, but it is wanting to listen on other ports(which my shell provider kind of frowns on), or irssi tells me "Cannot assign requested address".

My bot also does not auto-identify. I've tried it the way others have it, in the config, several different ways, but i cannot get it to set umodes or send nickerv messages on connect.

The command .help doesn't display anything no matter what I append to it(ie: .help all shows nothing except "no help available for that").

This last one is just a curious question... the message it sends to people when they first say hello to it is kind of redundant... can I change that to be more personal?

See here for config, and please note my #comments: http://pastie.org/817602
