compiling a bot [Solved]

I am trying to recompile my because the server I was using changed IP's. Everything works until I have to make: config Then I get make:Permission Denied.


I have searched but I haven't found anything. Please help me.

are the permissions set to 777?

Pardon for asking, but..

.. why are you recompiling your eggdrop as a result of your server changing it's IP-address?

To the case though... Have you checked the doc/COMPILE-GUIDE, especially FAQ item 10?

because I like to do things the hard way ha ha :P

and I was upgrading from 1.6.18 to 1.6.20 :)

I just had to CHMOD 700 the dir to get it to work.
