rss-synd annyoing error

hello,

i am using the eggdrop 1.6-19 and installed the rss-synd 0.5b1
i left the script as it was (just changed the channel)

when i type !slashdot on the chan just nothing happens.

anyone could help me figure this out?

Read the actual configuration options. Read the official support thread.

I already did, I wasn't able to find anything. I alreay send an email to the author but got no answer.

Any Ideas?

Lazy. The pure unadulterated laziness of some people. You dont want to do ANY of the work eh? Not even finding the right thread to post your issues in. It's as simple as search for "rss-synd" and clicking the top topic.

Do not email scotteh. Your issue is explained clearly in his thread, and in the config. If you can't figure it out, maybe you shouldn't be using it. You probably shouldn't be using eggdrop either. Nobody wants to hold your hand and dance with you. So be a big boy, lose the diapers, and learn how to find help properly without begging for it... jeez

What's worse is that the offical thread isn't even that far down either.
And people wonder why I get so riled up with some of these people.

Here's a tip (to them): Read the script's configuration comments, Readme files are named that for a reason, use OFFICAL threads and finally learn to use google. If all that fails, then and only then do you make a new thread about it.
