no telnet port

Hey!

I have searched the forum without any luck

i get this

[22:15:28] ::: ?TTraxx? chat
[22:15:31] !TTraxx! ERROR no telnet port

what to do?

See your config-file:

That looks proper.

Could you use /dcc chat instead of /ctcp chat, and post the output from the .dccstat command?

Then try telnetting to that port (30040)..

Been there done that is just hangs here

Sounds like you've got firewall-rules blocking ident-lookups, and a very high setting for "ident-timeout" ?

Hard to tell then...
The connection is accepted by your eggdrop, though the banner or nickname request is not posted.
Is it possible that some other process on that host is already using that port?

i dont know, i will try new ports....

think the port chaning did i can /ctcp now
