1 thing I should add, I tried to login today and whenever I login I get the login page again, not until I cleared cookies that I was able to login.

That would indicate Mozilla and IE share cookies?

I cleared cookies in Firefox so that's not sure.

If I:
1. Clear cookies in both browsers and close both.
2. Open Firefox, visit the forum and log in with the "automatically" box checked, close Firefox.
3. Open IE, visit the forum and log in with the "automatically" box checked.
4. Open Firefox and visit the forum.
I am still logged in in Firefox. What happens if you run through that sequence?
Perhaps there needs to be a delay, so I'm going to alternate between Firefox and IE over the next few days to see if I run into the problem. I assume it's only started occuring recently, and it may have more to do with phpBB than Firefox 1.5. It's mentioned in
this thread that there was a change in the way auto-login cookies are set in 2.0.18.

When I installed Firefox, it prompted me if I wish to import IE's cookies to Firefox so I selected "yes". I think the imported cookie was the problem because after I did as you told me slennox (clear cookies) I've been logged in for 2 days now with no problems and I did open and close IE and still logged in on IE as well.
Will tell you if I get logged out again.

Hmmm... Importing cookies from IE seems to duplicate them (in previous Firefox versions it did) so, when I upgraded to latest I did not import.

Seems to work OK after clearing Firefox's cookies, I've been logged in for 4 or 5 days now with no trouble at all

I think your problem was caused by the duplication of cookies when you imported them.
