just wondering if anyone can give me a idea why dcc send from my eggy is going 5kps max and i can ftp from the shell and get easy 1mbps is this a eggy issue? :?:

are you sure the other side is on 1mbps wire also?

if so, ask your shell admin about the issue; those kind of problems are usually firewall-related
