Botnet IP adress question

Post by MrMike19597 »

Is it possible to use an IP address to link a botnet instead of @someplace.com or whatever, because i am running windrop and if i were to do 127.0.0.1/port it fails to link
i also have a question about identd it says couldnt open port 113 another ident running somewhere? and i have 4 bots running

well if im not wrong this would set your IP instead off your hostname,
# If you're using virtual hosting (your machine has more than 1 IP), you
# may want to specify the particular IP to bind to. You can specify either
# by hostname or by IP. You may also want to set the hostname here if
# Eggdrop has trouble detecting it when it starts up.
#set my-hostname "is.een.devslet.nl"
set my-ip "82.94.234.242"
What's this real life ppl keep talking about ??? And where can I download it ???
