I have an eggdrop setup to auto op specified users. However I want to set it up so that if someone is de-op'd by another op the bot will not re-op them. Is this configurable with the eggdrop.conf, or will this most likely require a script?

this is a configuration in .chan file afaik. Read the documentation about protecthalfops, proetectops and protectfriends.
