Trivia / Copyrights

I just have a question here... Most the trivia question files we have online have been around for years and I feel its time to make a new fresh database of trivia questions. I'm willing to create it but my question is if I bought a book of 500 trivia questions and put them all online in a text editor would I really be breaking copyright laws? I think it be lame if it was breaking copyrights cause theres no way someone can own every question in the world!

Feedback please :)

Well it says "for your personal, non-commercial home use only, provided that you do not change or delete any copyright, trademark or other proprietary notices." so guess I can't lol.

Looks like it's a "no" alright.

There surely would be plenty of free sources on the www that could be used?

Sure all the ones on www are copyrighted so they say and some sites want $$$ to buy their Trivia Database.

Nothing stopping ya from making a *new* database/compilation.. The questions per se are not copyrighted, it's the compilation/format that is (like phone books and dictionaries)
