I know, its not the first post about that, but i see no other way, cause im at a dead end.
Im running on Debian, using Eggdrop1.6.19. Without patching to SSL everything works fine.
Since 3 days im trying to patch and connect via SSL.
- ive downloaded open ssl
- SSL rootie patch
Im patching like patch -p0 < ...rootie patch
configure
make config
make
make install
Till here everything seems fine. Im editing my config and the Bot tells, launched into Background ... as it should be, BUT no pid is running, nothing in the log ..
He tells he's starting, but he isn't.
Anyone having an idea what i did wrong or what i could do different.
