logfile filtering

Post by tzvaadonai »

is there a way to configure eggdrop-log-system to ignore given users from being logged?, f.e. chatter-bots in the channel. log file of my irc-channel is growing rapidly mainly because eggdrop saves all answers of chatterbots, trivia-bots and news-bots that are ignored by pisg-script anyway.

Try adding an ignore for each such user.

http://www.egghelp.org/commands/core.htm#+ignore

or, in the partyline do:
.help +ignore

to read about how to add an ignore.
