Are you the master/owner of the bot, or are you a normal user??? What?

If you have partyline access ON the partyline type ".help" for a list of commands. If you are just a user anywhere on IRC just type "/msg BotNick help". PLUS you should also do what was previously suggested.

This may just be proof that nobody reads the manual any more.

One of the things it states in the docs, is that user's that don't have a clue about the basic commands, should not be running eggdrop.

You should at least have read the readme file, looked at the .help command, and just as good, you where only 1 inch away with your mouse pointer, when you clicked the link for the forum on the egghelp.org site. Did you even attempt to help yourself?

Of course most ppl now a days thinks WOW eggdrop i gotta have one like the do those gay ass mirc bots hoping they can like do all the !8ball crap but with a eggdrop u actually got know something (no offence or anything) you also might wanna try netbots.tcl, nodbots.tcl, or BotShop scripts that might help u understand things al little easier

darmoth, he's Canadian, he can't help it.

As for phookas reply.

I don't see how using scripts like netbots, nodbot, or any other script for that matter, will help you on your way with eggdrop.

These would more than likely ehlp confuse the matter even more.

No offence, but if you can't type ".help" on a eggdrop in it's basic form, you sure as hell aint gonna know to type ".nethelp"
