What userlevel does a user/bot has to have to be able to "spam" without sentinel kicking in ?
chan +m .. .global +m ?

Defining "spam" would be helpful.
In any case, the detection mechanisms don't care what flags a user matches. sentinel.tcl won't ignore a flood from a user except those that are actually opped on the channel. This prevents users who are able to fake the uhosts of +o/+m/etc. from being able to flood without sentinel.tcl responding.

with SPAM I meant for example a sitebot babbling very much ...
and thnx for the info on that only ops are excluded ..
but maybe U could consider a flag for sentinel ignore ...
