they still havent provided me the IPv4 which was included in the plan.
they limit all bouncers to only 1 connection.
and still my psy often gets dc from the server (DALnet)

but their customer service is very good.
If they still have not provided you with IPv4 access, then why are you able to use the bouncer.
2 Background processes/Irc Connections. e.g.. 2 Eggdrops or 1 Eggdrop and 1 Bouncer.
- Own IPs for creating own Vhosts
- 50 MB Quota.
- Access by FTP and SSH1
- Traffic is inclusive Quota 50 Mb
Ips 1 IPv4
2 IPv6
Domain No
Period 3 mo.
i meant private ip.
i do have access to the public ips
but i would again say.. their support is really good.
most [ i guess all] of my support queries has been solved within 24hrs.
You will find that the IP issue is one of the main reason why there are not many shell providers in europe.
Europe has different IP assigning rules to the US.
This is why allmost all other providers don't have problems.
Other reasons include, ISP's refusing to route more IP's to you.
Some ISP's will only give you IP from ranges within there control (IE, they assign them to you, and not RIPE). This is another hurdle, as the ISP may not want to issue you any more and they may have more strick rules than RIPE.
I have only followed the european rules and issues, after 2 shell providers I used to be with (Grid9 - bought out, and discountinued shells, Xcalibre.co.uk - discontinued due to DDOS affectng the web-hosting business), where no longer able to provide IP's for this purpose.
They are not running out of IP's as such, there is infact plenty left. The rules where changed to prevent them running out too quickly.
You would be best to ask about and find the information yourself.
I´ve got a shell at unixshells.de for over a year now.
Great support, fair prices and very stable servers. My bot disconnected last month for a few hours after months! of permanent uptime. I don´t know how to sign up from foreign countries (and how the rules are) but if you live in Germany it´s one of the best choices for a shell. Can´t undestand the other people saying they have problems with them.
